Dave is a rare breed of person.

After deliberating about making the investment in the profitable partnership program I have just had the first of my sessions with Dave and I am incredibly excited for the future.   Dave not only made me cry (in a good way) but also unpicked so much opportunity for the growth of our business. For anyone who thinks they know their stuff on partnerships.... think again. Dave KNOWS about partnerships.   

For anyone considering working with him but are holding off, just do it! I already know a million percent that the money I've invested is going to come back to me tenfold.  

I was looking for someone to give me clarity around my strategy, help me answer the questions that were swirling around in my head, and provide me some structure so that I could move forwards.

But more than just giving me the brain space to answer the questions I already had, Dave asked the right questions to get me thinking even more. I had the best conversation ever with a prospective strategic partner this morning. It certainly wasn't as complete as it could have been as I've not written my process yet, but we established who in the practice was client facing, what I could do for them to make it easy for them to keep me front of mind and refer me and how we keep in touch.

I’m not great on workshops or training courses, I can find them a bit of a struggle, especially online. Dave’s delivery was awesome. There was lots of interaction, it was made relevant to my business, and it was really fun, which meant my attention was held all the way through. 

As for the content, I used to think I wasn’t asking for referrals as I didn’t have the time. Even though I knew they had huge potential for me because of the positive feedback my business gets. I know now that it was actually just that I didn’t have a process in place. I mean, how long does it take to ask for a referral?   I came out buzzing. My business has already been growing rapidly, and with this additional strategy behind it I’m really excited about what it could mean for my lead generation. 

I’m always so busy I just don’t ask for referrals, even though I receive a steady flow of them, I’d also love to get my team asking, but I know they’ll be resistant as they’re not sales focussed. Running a membership organisation, I’m already used to levering my audience for referrals, so I have to be honest I wondered how much I would get from the session. I couldn’t have been more wrong as I learned so much more than I ever thought I would.
